Michael Garron Hospital - Heart of the East
Victoria Village has been instrumental in the creation of the Zeena & Farid Amarshi Family Cardiac Care Unit at Michael Garron Hospital. Through our philanthropic support, this state-of-the-art facility was established to provide life-saving cardiac care to patients and families across East Toronto. We are also proud to be a major philanthropic supporter of the Child Development Centre, which offers specialized speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy for children. Our investment has helped ensure that families in our community have access to life-changing early intervention and developmental services close to home.
Aga Khan foundation - tajikistan
In partnership with the Aga Khan Foundation, VVG played a key role in advancing early childhood education across Tajikistan. Through our philanthropic support, we helped to establish 30 childcare programs and provided teacher training rooted in the Ontario Curriculum, strengthening educational quality and consistency.
As part of this initiative, we also redeveloped an existing elementary school, transforming it into a modern learning campus with a state-of-the-art early childhood wing. This investment created an integrated pathway from early childhood through adolescence, expanding access to quality education and ensuring children are supported at every stage of their development.

SOS Children's Villages - the gunjula project
Victoria Village partnered with SOS Children’s Villages on the Gunjula Project in Uganda, with a focus on advancing early childhood development in remote communities. Through our philanthropic support, we delivered comprehensive training to early childhood educators, equipping them not only with the skills to strengthen their own practice but also with the capacity to train other teachers—spreading best practices and building sustainable, scalable impact.
As part of this initiative, we also developed a world-class early childhood education centre, setting a new benchmark for quality learning environments in the region and giving children the foundation they need to thrive.

Victoria Village Group has partnered with First Book in an engaged philanthropic endeavour to bring books and literacy opportunities to children in lower socio-economic communities across Toronto. First Book is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to fostering a love of reading by providing access to quality books, resources, and mentorship. Together, we are helping to ensure that every child has the opportunity to discover the joy and empowerment that comes through literacy.
