Muppets Private Home Daycares
At Muppets Private Home Daycare, we believe that a supportive partnership between the parents, providers and the agency ensures the best quality care for each child. We provide care to children from infants to 12 years old, with safe and nurturing homes located in neighbourhoods throughout wards 28, 29, 30, 31, 32 and 35.
Muppets Private Home Daycare centres are licensed by the CCEYA, with home visits by our Supervisors occurring on an unscheduled basis at least once a month to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the children in our programs. Our supervisors are Registered Early Childcare Educators and provide training and support to the home child care provider in areas such as programming, nutrition, home safety, behaviour management and understanding and following the policies and procedures of the company.
Our Home Daycare Providers have small group-care only, with no more than five children per home, no more than three children under the age of three, and no more than two children under the age of two, providing more opportunities for one-to-one interaction. Being licensed home daycares, all homes are under contract and are open to inspections by the Fire Department, Public Health, Children's Services and the Ministry.
First Aid, Childcare training and Criminal Reference Checks are mandatory for all Providers.
