We provide daycare to children ages 2 years 6 months to 12 years. Transportation for before and after school for Seymour Heights Elementary, Blueridge Elementary, Dorothy Lynas Ecole School and Cove Cliff Elementary school is provided.
Our School Age program is located at Canlan Ice Sports Centre, situated at 2411 Mount Seymour Parkway. The major intersection for this location is Mount Seymour Parkway and Berkley Rd. Children enjoy the use of the lovely playground at Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centre which is located next to our building. This area is also surrounded by forest and small trails for walks and enjoying nature.
We are a licensed childcare centre and our staff all have the necessary qualifications required to work with children under the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority Licensing Office. Our Emergent Curriculum is a child initiated, teacher facilitated program that offers play based learning which reflects the interests and needs of the children in our care. Our role as educators is to document, observe, and engage children in projects both short and long term, as well as daily learning experiences. These experiences and projects help develop children’s social, emotional, communication, language, literacy, cognitive and physical skills.
